It looks like this was your last race this season in CWTS and you didn't win a race. :D I hope you'll not win a race in NWS, either. :D 5. 12345Dude posted: 11.03.2012 - 2:34 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kligerman and team definitely made a bad decision on 2 tires. 6. Before the pit cycle began #7 was in distant 3rd, 4-tires change wouldn't change anything so they gambled and this gamble paid off completely. 7. I saw the entire truck race and I can tell that that was no way that Peter Kligerman would have finished 2nd without that pit call or lead any laps. You would have been right if there was a caution because Peter would have been a setting duck. 10. Matt L posted: 11.03.2012 - 12:04 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 55,000 people in attendance?!? All depends on sponsorship though of course. 12. 10andJoe posted: 11.03.2012 - 2:34 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The second caution was caused by the #51 blowing up. 13. It's his 2nd win of 2012, both coming at Texas Motor Speedway for the first TMS sweep since Ron Hornaday in 2008; he's the 3rd driver to sweep TMS (Brendan Gaughan in back-to-back seasons in 2002 and 2003). After having just 2 wins in his first two seasons with Thorsport, Sauter now has 4 wins in the last 2. It's Sauter's 4th top 2 finish in 9 career Truck starts at TMS (6.4 avg fin). Parker Kligerman finishes 2nd for the 6th time in 46 series starts, giving him runner-up finishes in 13% of his Truck Series career. He's 2nd in points scored in the 9 races since he joined Red Horse Racing, -7 behind James Buescher, but has the most top 5 finishes of any driver over that span. Nelson Piquet Jr., in his 50th career Truck Series start earned his 3rd pole of 2012 and of his career. He finishes in the top 3 for the 3rd time in the last 4 races and 5th in the last 10. It's his 3rd consecutive top 5 finish at Texas Motor Speedway and 4th top 10 in 5 career starts there (6.6 avg fin). Kyle Busch gets his 2nd top 5 in 2 starts this season, and 80th top 10 in 103 career Truck starts. Ty Dillon picks up his 5th top 5 and 6th top 10 in the last 7 races. Ty needs top 10's in each of the last 2 races of the season to tie Ricky Hendrick's rookie record for top 10's in a season of 19. Matt Crafton's 14th top 10 of the season surpasses his total from 2011, with 13 of them coming within the last 15 races. Joey Coulter equals his top 10's from 2011 with his 13th of the season. The only time he's gone back-to-back races without a top 10 in 2012 was the first two races of the seasons. Todd Bodine finishes in the top 10 for just the 7th time this season, his 3rd in the last 6 races but they're his only ones in the last 14 races as well. Aric Almirola gets his 2nd top 10 in 3 starts with Wauters Motorsports; their best finish otherwise this season is 17th four times, most recently with Josh Richards at Martinsville last week. Timothy Peters picks up his 4th straight top 10 finish, and 60th career top 10 in 138 Truck Series starts. He's 5th in points scored over the last 4 races, but is just 3 points behind Buescher who's scored the most. After finishing no better than 18th in his first 13 career Truck starts (24.3 avg fin), Max Gresham has finishes of 11th and 12th in his last 2 races. 17.
