It's nothing illegal or unforgivable, but there are reasons. As for tonight's race, I was not a fan of Ross' post-wreck interview. It's superspeedway racing and wrecks because of bad pushes happen, but to deflect all blame to the truck he was pushing, and throw lines around like, "sponsor says they're cup level", there just wasn't much class there. He also alluded to a previous superspeedway incident between the two that came at the end of the Talladega race where he was working fine with Parker, and Parker went 3 wide in the middle through the tri-oval on the final lap, and Ross didn't know and came up into Parker triggering a wreck. Drivers who can't take the blame and learn from their mistakes simply never reach their full potential. 167. And yet Kyle, despite getting prime opportunities every year, it seems, has none. To choke away as many opportunities as Kyle has doesn't exactly signify greatness to me. " First off, his career is far from over. It's not even halfway over. And you'd be a fool to bet against him never winning one for the rest of his career. I could rattle off the ages of some former champions when they finally won their first titles, but if you knew the sport you'd already know that writing off someone's championship chances while that driver is still in his 20s is beyond ridiculous (especially when he's won 28 races on every type of track). And second, since he's been running full time, only three other drivers have even won a title. Kinda hard when every year you have to compete against Jimmie Johnson's team while they are in the middle of an unprecedented run. And the Gibbs equipment failures while in the Chase have almost become expected since they've have happened so frequently. But in the end, even if Busch doesn't win a championship, he's still going to be in the Hall of Fame. Face it, he'll win 40 or more Cup races. I think he'll even get to 50. That's enough to be great in my book. So what if he's not a slow and steady points guy, he's an all-out, go for the win at all costs racer, the kind that's becoming all too rare in the sport these days. I like seeing a driver who cares so much about winning that he can't stand not racing something when he has the chance, like Busch or Tony Stewart. 172. Multiply that by all the cars side by side in a pack and multiple times per lap. You're correct that they aren't actually "passes". 187.
