Jones is running 12 races this year. He's actually 18 now and will run
Texas next week.

Anyway. Due to the fact the first practice session was rained out before
everyone had gotten onto the track, practice speeds were not used for
setting the field.

Ryan Sieg makes his first attempt since Daytona, having switched to
running for Nationwide ROTY; the team apparently decided that the short
field meant a chance to pick up a little extra cash this week.

Had something come up and ultimately I had to give this race a skip.

Doesn't seem like I missed much. Like I said before, I'm calling it now.
Kyle Busch will go undefeated in the Truck series this year. At least he
is running his own equipment, but still, I think I'd rather see Erik
Jones running the majority of the schedule as opposed to the two of them
running about half the schedule apiece...

Try and focus on the positives. Brandon Jones scored a top 5 finish!
Impressive considering he has actually DNQ'd for an East Series race
this year. And how about John Hunter Nemechek's sixth lac finish? This
kid is going places, provided he can get funding.

I really to believe that KB is the worst driver in Nascar history. He
openely admits that he loves to dominate rookies because it basically
boosts his insanely massive ego. Besides beings a huge prick he is also

Another lower series NASCAR race, another Busch victory. Its pretty
stupid that he gets satisfaction for this. We don't see another major
series with top drivers racing in lower series. Imagine if RHR decided
to do an Indy Lights race, or Marc Marquez did Moto2.

Actually, Moto GP (then 500 cc) riders competing in the other classes
(350, 250, 150, 125, 80, 50, sidecar, etc) was quite common until 30
years ago because the skill set needed to ride at each level was
completely different, unlike the practical uniformity found in NASCAR.

For what its worth as unhappy as I am with the race, its not my point.
My opinion and only mine is he has major psychological issues that makes
him very proud to beat up the lesser series with a stout car and brag a
ton about it like it matters. In my opinion he has major issues and
could use help from a shrink like his brother. Also I am just sharing my
opinion, I am not telling anyone how to feel and I am not right or wrong.

I do agree with you on that. Kyle B. does seem to take a lot of glee out
of dominating lower level races he competes in and that does annoy me.

I definitely agree with the notion that Kyle makes the lower Series
races boring when he dominates them. In fact, when I saw that he was on
the pole for this one I already figured he was going to win so I decided
to do something else while this race was on.

Same goes for Brad, Joey and Kenseth when they dominate a Nationwide race.

Saw that on Jayski. That's just sad. This series is sick, worse even
than the Nationwide series. What will NASCAR do? Likely nothing. If
anything, they'll institute a policy designed to "cut costs" that will
only hurt, not help, the smaller teams. Like they always do.

I just don't have a clue what NASCAR can do to help the NCWTS. I thought
the new bodies would hurt the truck count for this year, but not by this
amount...I think more stand alone races, short track races and higher
race purses is all that can help.

aren't going to come to compete when they know they don't have a chance
against Kyle Busch).

â?¢Allow teams to buy tires. The tire-leasing program is yet one more
example of NASCAR trying to cut costs, but making it more expensive.
Smaller teams used to be able to save money by buying used tires.
