I'm happy that #02-Tyler Young gets to start 10th, and Weller and Bell got lucky with Townley's spin to have made it to round 3. Also, it appears tire wear is of concern for some teams, and a competition caution will be displayed tonight at lap 30. Have a good night and enjoy the race everyone!! (Well...whoever is going to be watching at 10pm eastern.) 2. dennyfan11 posted: 09.27.2014 - 8:39 pm Rate this comment: (3) (6) Another Short field. The truck Series is dying fast. I don't think it will lat much longer. 3. He even posted a picture with all the trucks gaggled 4 and 5 wide on pit lane during qualifying. 5. 23andJoe posted: 09.27.2014 - 9:18 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) Dennyfan11 - Citation needed. 6. dennyfan11 posted: 09.27.2014 - 9:27 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Only 5 races this year have had full fields. 7. epzik8 posted: 09.27.2014 - 9:34 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Oh yeah, I get to wait until 10pm to watch this live but I'm always up that late. 8. Roush isn't here, Hendrick hasn't fielded a truck in a long time, no more Harvick with his 3 trucks, no Childress. Its tough to fill a field when nobody wants to put some developmental guys in this series. 9. I've said it before, but that kid is definitely going far in the future (maybe not NASCAR Cup Series champion like I boldly predicted last year, but I think he's definitely got a bright future in the Cup Series some day). Matt Crafton finishes 3rd and expands his points lead over his teammate Sauter. Right now, things are looking pretty good for him to pull off back-to-back titles... 29. He is seriously gonna be a beast. If he is this good now, I can't imagine what he'll be like once he matures and learns more as a driver. JGR would be stupid to not hold on to both him and Bubba. And yeah, Crafton seems to be on the fast track to being the first ever back to back Truck champ. I hope it happens. 32. SlicedSmoke14 posted: 09.28.2014 - 12:12 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) Decent race, but the coverage for the second half of the race made TNT look good. No reason we should have had that many commercial breaks, especially having one with 10 laps to go. Post-race wasn't even better. 33. Underdogfan posted: 09.28.2014 - 9:08 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) NASCAR affiliated shows were always one of the worst for commercial breaks. Now with the decline of the sport, the concern for coverage is even less. At least Cup seems to have adopted split screen ad breaks, though I don't see why they can do it the whole race. 34. Otherwise, I didn't catch the finish, I was too busy catching Barrett Jackson's final moments on a FOX network (Nat Geo). 37. Not sure how many other drivers in the 3 major series of NASCAR could lay claim to such a stat. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
