DAMN...I can't believe it's been TWO weeks in a row a vehicle has gotten up into the fence in a NASCAR race. Although I will say that it doesn't look like any fans' lives were put in danger this time (from the replay I saw, Kennedy hit in a spot where the stands were nigh-empty), it's...Concerning to see this happen again so soon, and at a non-restrictor plate track to boot. Probably the right call to end the race considering it would have taken a long time to repair it. Crafton notches another win in what has been practically a career best year for him. Like it or not, with the season almost halfway or over, I can't help but feel he is going to win his third straight title this year. 70. As much as it appears that Crafton is running away with the title right now, he only holds a 20-point lead over Tyler Reddick, and a 29-point lead over Erik Jones. Both young drivers are quite capable of hitting on a hot streak and erasing the points deficit. Plus, the fact that the truck fields are only 30 strong, with a few starting and parking anyway, means that a "bad finish" by either contender will only be a 20-25 point swing at most. 93. If anyone ever deserved to have a season like this it is Matt. He went like 7 years before finally earning his first career win and then had to wait 3 years for his second career win. Had first multi-win season last year and how has doubled that in just 10 races so far. 109. Wait until the final entry list is revealed before we get all huffy puffy and disappointed in the number of entries, okay? 113.
