No injuries, heaven forbid, just equipment that has to be parked for the rest of the day. Then maybe Norm Benning and Josh Reaume, for whom the small amount of money they could have earned in this race would make a difference to their teams, can visit rich boys Busch & Dillon in the garage since they have nothing better to do today. 2. It's not Kyle Busch who is so generously permitting Erik Jones to run in "his" equipment, it's Joe Gibbs and there's no generosity involved (same with Penske & Ryan Blaney). Kyle == Gibbs Keselowski == Penske JR Motorsports == Hendrick At least Childress doesn't pretend he isn't the one who is 100% behind Cowboy Hat and Cowboy Hat Junior. 8. 88&4Fan posted: 09.26.2015 - 11:58 am Rate this comment: (1) (2) Actually BKR has less of an advantage I don't think they get that much equipment from Penske. 9. luigistarted06 posted: 09.26.2015 - 11:59 am Rate this comment: (0) (2) It always breaks my heart to see Norm miss a race. I don't know how much they showed on TV but the racing between Austin and Erik Jones early in the races was pretty good and that went on for a good 20-30 lap. Austin and Kyle also put on a pretty good show during that long green flag run where they had green flag pit stops. Again since they were running like 4th or 5th at that point I don't know how much of it they showed on TV. New Hampshire has always been like that. on TV it's not that great to watch but in person it's pretty good. There's always something going on, it's just TV would rather show you the leader out front by 4 seconds rather than the battle for say 12th. 96. Too bad I couldn't thumb that up twice. It all comes down to popularity. This is also why Busch gets slammed for it. And Larson's fans, which I assume are mostly bandwagon after his rookie season, think he's invincible to everything that everyone else should get slammed for. This is why I think Dillon is incredibly underrated while Larson is incredibly overrated. See post 94 on the Larson page for my thoughts. Did I mention they are about equal in cup this year? 97. Anonymous posted: 09.27.2015 - 1:32 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Larson doesn't get a free pass from everyone, or probably even from most. I don't want to see much of Austin OR Kyle L. slumming in the lower series, but I absolutely don't ever want to see an experienced, "chase-caliber" driver down there stinking up the show every damn week. If a lesser driver (Menard, Almirola...) wants to show up *once in a while* that's not the end of the world. When a Cup driver, with a Cup team, in Cup equipment, backed by Cup money/sponsorship just has to be there to remind us how much better he is than the teams who run on a shoestring budget -- and make the races boring as hell in the process -- THAT'S what is bad for the sport. 98.
