Jordan Anderson lucks out in qualifying by being 27th fastest, the final spot in the race. Ben Kennedy had an oil line issue and couldn't post a time. Had he posted a time, he likely would've been quicker than Anderson, and knocked him out of the race. 4. Gonna be an interesting season, nonetheless, with top newcomers such as Enfinger, Bell, Byron, Rhodes, Self, and Abreu, and with John Hunter Nemechek and Cole Custer running full time as well. Couple that with veterans Sauter, Crafton, Peters, and other top drivers such as Reddick returning...and this could turn out to be a really fun, competitive year. Well, other than the caution clock... 5. He'll start second tonight in his first race in the #21 Chevy. Christopher Bell, Cole Custer, Ben Rhodes, and John Hunter Nemechek will all run full-time for the championship this season. Something similar happened with IndyCar a few years ago, Takuma Sato is credited with taking the checkered flag a lap down despite the fact that he crashed battling for the lead on the final lap and never made it back to the start-finish line. I have NO idea why they're so...reluctant to list drivers who crashed out on the final lap as a DNF.
