I'm guessing they'll play nice tonight (or whenever this race runs). No reason to ruin a race early. 2. joey448 posted: 06.25.2016 - 6:55 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Qualifying was rained out, plus there was lightning in the area, so the lineup is set by combined practice speeds. Ben Rhodes on the pole! And three-time winner this season William Byron starts third. Ryan Truex returns after two races away from the series due to the Hattori Racing Enterprises team's commitment to another driver (Jesse Little) and a part time schedule. 3. Shame that Kligerman had to miss this race though and probably will miss some more as well. I think the front row should be fine. Yes, they wrecked at Kansas, but I don't think they'll have any issues tonight. 6. With that said, It took Hornaday 14 years to reach a total of 51 wins, and he does have the most wins in series history in the Truck series. Lets not forget that he only raced a total of 3 times from 2000 to 2004 (winning once in 2002), so technically it took Ron 12 full time years to reach 50 wins total. Hornaday was around when the Truck series was first created. Kyle Busch, who only has raced half to 2/3 (with the exception of 2006, 2012, 2015 and possibly 2016) of the schedule at most, in 12 years dating back to 2005 have won 45 races so far. Kyle Busch won the night Bristol race on August 26th, 2011 for his 50th career win in the then-Nationwide series, which is now the Xfinity series. Ron Hornaday won his 50th Truck series race on October 1st, 2011 at Kentucky. This just hit me. Remember the Texas incident between Kyle Busch and Ron Hornday, which sat Kyle Busch out for the entire race weekend due to his foolish pushing-Hornaday-under-caution-to-wreck-him? This happened that same year not long after they both hit the historic 50 wins mark. They are both currently the two winningest drivers of this series and there's not doubt Kyle Busch will reach at least 52 wins before he officially retires from the Truck series. 211. HouseOfPenske posted: 06.26.2016 - 6:32 am Rate this comment: (2) (0) Let's put the KBM vs Roush totals into perspective. A good chunk of Roushs' wins came during the early years of the truck series, with very stiff competition from well funded Cup operations such as RCR and Hendrick, as well as Richard Petty/Mopar, Butch Miller, Ultra/Jim Smith, Butch Miller's team, etc. All of the big 3 issued support and poured money into the series. In recent years, it has become a Toyota circle jerk. Ford offers token opposition with BKR, GM pulled out their support years ago, and Mopar doesn't race. Roush withdrew as did Ford in the late 2000's .Toyota spares no expense to win anything, even when there's no competition. You can't tell me if Gibbs, Penske, Roush, RCR (since the Dillons left) and even Hendrick were still there, totals would be a lot different. 212. Anyhow, anyone that watched the race could see that it was a Toyota.. 224. If you're getting the last part from FOX's broadcast, that's just because Altec would've sponsored their broadcast, but I don't remember seeing anywhere that Altec was a sponsor of this race. 227. After low funding prohibited us to make the trip out here another team reached out and offered for me to run their truck to keep me in the points which sounded fantastic... But showing up to the track I soon learned this truck, though still a race truck, is not to the standard that my team nor I deserve after all of the hard work put in. And I quickly figured out this was for this team to just make a quick dollar. With this being said I owe Dakota Ward a huge thanks for jumping in to at least get this truck running and Tony Krupp for the hard work. We are able to start tonight but please please do not judge my team, they have worked way to hard to have their reputation tarnished over a truck that doesn't belong to us.... Okay maybe it was a rant but it's over. 228.
