The reason we like Jennifer is because she isn't a WHINER...I think I know why you like Danica. Because you're both whiners. If you love her that much, get off your computer, buy some tickets, and go to a race. Preferably you get a seat in the top row of the K grandstand at Indy. 4. that e-guy posted: 11.04.2016 - 7:05 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) @2 Comparing someone who drives for their own team against someone who can't get a top 5 driving for a team with two championships and 3 teammates who have won championships. And JJC is most definitely a whiner too...anyone remember the fit she manufactured at Bristol over starting and parking? Everyone else besides her and her crew chief said they knew they were parking, but nope, Jen Jo took it to the media and made her owner look like the worst offender in that scenario. And that whole Mike Harmon fiasco, I don't even want to open that can of worms, it's still hard to tell who's in the right - depends on who you talk to. There's been a few less-documented incidents too, point is she's far from a saint and if she'd ever been anything more than a back of the pack driver in back of the pack equipment her issues would have gotten a lot more attention and she might not be in the sport still. Also, why do you people still waste your time and energy refuting every argument and insulting danicaracer to no end...there is literally nothing to gain there and hurling threats and insults makes you look like an idiot as well. This site would honestly be better off without comment boards, because for every post with valuable insight you couldn't garner by otherwise just looking at race results, there's 20 posts of people squabbling about why driver X is literally (literally!) the worst driver in NASCAR or why driver Y is awful and so are all of their fans with no exceptions. 7. rm posted: 11.04.2016 - 7:53 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Anyway, to make a constructive comment - Gallagher wins his second pole of the year and will start on the front row for the third time this season. He's shown some speed in qualifying, it's got to be only a matter of time until he can translate that to a race win. He was especially fast earlier, it wouldn't surprise me if he's the latest GMS driver to reach victory lane in tonight's race. 8. Tylor Thaber posted: 11.04.2016 - 7:56 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) @6 I can't justify the Harmon incident, but JJC whining about S&Ping is...also not justifiable, but it is understandable. To start and park must be insulting. 'Oh, we don't need you racing, just park the car for us.' They are race car drivers, not valets. Jeff Green has stated time and time again that he feels he has a little bit left in him to keep racing, and he possesses something above a feeling of hatred for start and parking. ...As for why we insult him...it's to remind him that no one shares his opinion. 9. Tylor Thaber posted: 11.04.2016 - 8:01 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) @7 ...Gallagher seems like someone who starts really well, but always has something go wrong for him. 10. rm posted: 11.04.2016 - 8:05 pm Rate this comment: (1) (2) So insult him because nobody shares his opinion? That's just plain mean man, come on. Though I do agree with your point about Gallagher, I honestly think that he's better than what his results have shown. He'll put it all together one of these days. 11. Tylor Thaber posted: 11.04.2016 - 8:14 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) @10 Treat me with kindness, I'll treat you with kindness. You've done nothing wrong, you have not insulted me, so I'm going to treat you as you deserve to be treated: properly. While I would agree that I'd be in the wrong if he became a brat because he tried sharing his opinions with decency and we mocked him for it...that's not what happened. He was a brat from the get-go, blindly oblivious to things, and pretending faults didn't exist instead of minimizing their importance, as you'd expect someone to do. Treat me poorly, I'll treat you poorly. ...And the track's been treating Rico Abreu poorly as usual. Didn't he get a top ten at the first Texas race? Swear he's only gotten like four of those. 12. I've also heard the 00 might not close down, not sure who would replace Custer, maybe Berry or even Bowman? Bowman's been the odd man out at Hendrick/JRM, I don't think they'll add a 6th team in Xfinity so maybe that puts him as the 00 truck driver and part time in the 88. That was Crafton's career year too (his championship years weren't too impressive). Thorsport is terrible this year outside of him, he has no technical help from his teammates that can barely sneak into the top 5. I'll still maintain that Thorsport made a huge mistake letting Sauter walk to another team when they had a stranglehold on the competition. He did an amazing job tonight, and you can tell in the post-race interview that he really appreciates his position and every opportunity he has to climb into a competitive race truck. I also gained a lot of respect for Christopher Bell and Cameron Hayley after this race. Bell had every right to be mad at Cole Custer & Hayley, after the way Custer ran him into Hayley and the way Hayley put him into the wall on the last lap. But he even admitted fault (though I didn't see any), and he handled the whole situation like a real professional when he could've completely blown up at those guys. Maybe his boss should take a lesson. And Hayley went and apologized after the race, which I felt was also a big thing for him to do. Overall, we saw some good racing tonight. Whether the site wants to list these realistically or not is absolutely fine. By posting them in the comments section, people can still find them here and that's fine by me. And to Alex and oldschoolracing519, how about quit whining? If you don't like the post, then don't say anything. And if we are really trying to copy NASCAR's listing, then the #1 should be Tracy Lowe since her name is actually listed for the #1 and not Mr. Beaver. 85. Norm Benning is as much the owner of the #63 truck in NASCAR's eyes as I am the owner of it. For statistical purposes, that is NOT AT ALL. The fact you make posts like "Racing Reference rivaly of the year. NLLP vs Alex over owner updates" says you have severe psychiatric issues with being challenged. When you're old enough to go to college, don't bother; you'll be challenged daily by people who know more about things than you do. And based on my review of the last few races, it looks like more often than not the webmaster is also agreeing that you're wrong seeing how only a handful of your so-called "corrections" were accepted. 89. You can't handle being faced with factual evidence, it seems. 91. chevyfan98 posted: 11.12.2016 - 2:03 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Austin Dillon shouldn't be credited with any points for this race. (It says he isn't, but when you check the season standings, he has points from this race). 92. The caution clock was pretty stupid of an idea. If it would have been moved to 30 minutes it could have worked. 95. possum posted: 08.11.2019 - 12:25 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) @94 - you should have stopped at "idea". It was just a stupid idea (one which I'd totally forgotten about). Unfortunately, one of a long list of stupid ideas which have come from NASCAR, and the direct precursor to today's stage racing, another bad idea. 96. Anon posted: 08.11.2019 - 1:11 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) @95 I like stage racing's concept, I just think they are doing it wrong. I don't think there should be cautions at stage end. Award the points, but don't stop the race. At bare minimum, don't count the laps under caution for stage breaks. Yesterday's truck race had stage 2 start with 13 laps to go. That's ridiculous to me. You can thank stage racing though for Ross Chastain's championship opportunity this year. 97.
