He got clipped by Jordan Anderson as he looped it and the damage sidelined Friesen's #52 for the night. Also KBM isn't a top tier ride per-say. they're decent don't get me wrong and that helps, but lets just say drivers like Cody Coughlin, Noah Gragson, Justin Boston or Gray Gaulding were not hired for their talents. In fact they use customer Triad Engines from what I understand. 47. Kyle "cost a series regular" the win? By saying this are you ACTUALLY trying to imply Kyle is responsible for Ben's engine failure, that he caused Rhodes' engine to blow? That might be one of the most outlandish things I've ever heard ANYONE say on this site, and THAT is saying something. HOW would that even be possible? Are you to expect me to believe Kyle is some sort of magician who can use his fantastical magical powers to cause something to happen to someone beating him in a lower-series race...? Rhodes' engine blowing up was just a random failure, I'm sure. It sucks that it happened because he would've won otherwise and gotten redemption from crashing going for the win in this race last year, and it sucks even more it gave the win to Kyle, but you know what? Shit like that happens sometimes. There's nothing you can do about that. And I FULLY understand the dislike for Kyle's running in the lower series, and I fully applaud NASCAR for limiting the amount of races guys like him COULD run this year. (I only wish they could've done more...) But you know what? Bitching about him running doesn't solve anything and it only wastes your valuable time. Why torture yourself watching races he's running in angrily spending every second bitching and complaining when you could just easily relieve that stress by...y'know...NOT watching? I learned that myself over time. I felt I was wasting time and energy watching all these lower series races in which Kyle and the Cup gang raped the rest of the field, and I could put that time and energy to better usage. That's why I don't watch as many lower series races these days, and you know what? I'm not hurting any for it; in fact I feel much better. It's nice not having to feel angry every Friday night/Saturday afternoon. I don't understand why some folks who hate seeing Kyle race in these events...CONTINUE to torment themselves every week by watching those very same races, unless they're very masochistic and enjoy torturing themselves, or are only satisfied when they're angry at something. I don't know...I don't get people sometimes...But seriously, if it's REALLY bugging you that much and having that much of an affect on your life, why continue tormenting yourself? 49. 23andJoe posted: 05.12.2017 - 11:51 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) >Kyle "cost a series regular" the win? The unofficial points pages often have omitted information, like usually the unofficial owner points don't award an attempt to those trucks who DNQ, they also fail to reflect attempts made by post entries. I think GMS Racing gave the #23's points to the #24 so they could keep the Martinsville win in house, then in turn, Norm got the points from the #24. Furthermore, the trucks line up in the garages based on owner points, the #1 and #12 were at the back of the garage and not the #6, which implies Norm was further up the garage. I'm pretty sure the official points report on Monday will reflect Norm's new points situation. 64. Because Kyle Busch is the exact opposite of Mark Martin - he just can't do anything right (Mark Martin just can't do anything wrong) according to their logic... There's no help for such people - they'll never understand that as long as NASCAR doesn't mind Cup drivers in lower series races, they'll never ban them completely, because it would ruin their income from Cup team investing a lot of money into their lower series programs. Plus, those drivers ARE LEARNING from those veterans - not everyone will make it to the Cup Series, so the opportunity to race with the best in the business is nearly priceless for them. Even Ben Rhodes himself admitted he learned something from racing with Kyle in those final laps... but was unlucky again. That just happens... 66. You mean he would race the maximum amount of races he's allowed to enter in Trucks, so not 5 times he's scheduled now? Well, if his desire to surpass Hornaday is as big as his goals to have 100 Xfinity wins and 200 NASCAR professional wins, why not? But that would mean either some of his rookies won't make all scheduled starts, or Kyle will make those 2 extra starts in his part-time car. 69.
