Having 32 trucks on the grid is just lovely - but only 25 trucks will be on track at lap 25. 13. (11.5 to 12.2) It would be nice if FS1 said what would happen if that scenario did end up presenting itself. But apparently that's too much to ask. >_> 33. As Crafton falls back, he gets lose and makes contact with his teammate and playoff contender Ben Rhodes. Both could have tire rubs. FS1 of course misses the contact between the 19 and the 88 and has no idea what caused Crafton to fall back. 34. Rhodes and Truex do indeed end up tying for the final playoff spot, giving Rhodes the edge by finishing 2nd at Pocono back in June, ironically just ahead of 3rd place Ryan Truex. 38. Don't worry - Las Vegas will have 2 races next season and Kyle said he will most probably race there and try to win there as well. And then, another 4 starts. If he wins again 2 or 3 races out of 5 starts, then the Hornaday's record is history. One thing is to tie him and the other is to surpass him, but you will still have the most wins (along with somebody) anyway - that's the same. 46. Drakion posted: 09.16.2017 - 10:15 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) @45 ...This is exactly why a lot of people around here don't like you Mannoroth...the majority of fans here are sick of seeing a cup guy stealing away wins and you have to come here acting like a obnoxious prick bragging about any race Kyle plans on running in and rubbing it in everyone's face like we are suppose to be impressed by him or something. Drop the pom poms, stop licking that Kyle Busch poster of yours and open your freaking eyes. 47. Anonymous posted: 09.16.2017 - 11:16 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Ouch. If Matt L didn't write that this race wasn't any Kyle Busch Show, I wouldn't write anything. Just a little reminder that Kyle will be back next year to finally tie or surpass Ron Hornaday, Jr. Interesting, people weren't that sick of a Cup guy running lower series races to "steal" wins away many years back, when Mark Martin started this and then Kevin Harvick tried to surpass him (which he hasn't done yet). I know it has A LOT to do with the media and the fact that person is Kyle Busch. However, people need to open their eyes - it has always been this way and not just in NASCAR. Do you even know who Eddy Merckx is? One of the best cyclists in the world, who doped, but he won 525 races in 1000+ starts. And (the most important fact), he just loved to go into lower series races and to beat many weaker cyclists on regular basis. That's why only 133 of his 525 wins count as professional or official (he's 4th on all-time win list). So don't pretend this anomaly is just in NASCAR - it was and still is elsewhere (many cyclists run lower series races to get into the form and to win some stages and races). All you need to do is to look outside of your USA bubble... And lastly, tell me how 49 wins in 140 starts isn't impressive? I know it's still a lower series, but that win percentage is literally insane and he's nearly on Hornaday's level (as far as wins are concerned) despite having minus 220 starts Hornaday has. That's even more than impressive, because Hornaday had the best equipment in almost all his years in Trucks. Plus, Kyle Busch was racing against him since 2005 - sometimes Kyle won, sometimes Hornaday won. So tying and surpassing this legend will be special - maybe some tribute from Kyle to him? Who knows... 49. George posted: 09.16.2017 - 11:59 am Rate this comment: (2) (0) Shorter Mannoroth (pretty much every post): "Kyle Busch is god, Mark Martin won races in a lower series once upon a time too, and anyone who didn't spend 100% of their life ranting and raving against Mark Martin back then is a total hypocrite now, and oh by the way Kyle Busch is god." 50. Mannoroth posted: 09.16.2017 - 1:54 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) 49. Once upon a time? Winning 39 races in 9 years and always running about half of the schedule is once upon a time? I think winning 39 races in 129 starts is something on a Kyle Busch Truck level, definitely not once upon a time. Apart from that God and "once upon a time", you actually wrote it correctly. Mark Martin should deserve some hate for his "claim jumping" days. Hell, he's the one who started it and inspired other teams to do it as well. However, for the most people, Mark Martin just can be or do wrong... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
