Alex posted: 09.26.2017 - 12:46 pm Rate this comment: (1) (1) This is, in a tragedy for the series, the last time the trucks will race here as a standalone. The trucks have been coming here since 1996, with every race in that time being either the feature or support to IndyCar. 4. Hypothetical Field Fillers posted: 09.29.2017 - 1:23 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Hypothetically, here's who I think would end up filling out the field to give this race a full truck count. Obviously, it's not going to happen at this point in time, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to speculate about it: #20 Tyler Young #36 Kevin Donahue #38 TJ Bell #42 Matt Mills 9. I doubt Copp can get a 3rd truck out to park as the #36. 10. JeffGordon24FanForever posted: 09.30.2017 - 9:11 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Snyder crashed out lap 1, another half dozen parked, Pastrana had mechanical problems, and the medium one made an appearance at the start of Stage 2 involving: Sauter, Cindric, Self, Haley, and Friesan. Lots of racing up front so far 11. RaceFanX posted: 09.30.2017 - 10:00 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) This race was coming down to a fuel mileage affair when Austin Wayne Self crashed with 15 laps to go. John Hunter Nemechek was leading when that happened but it might help him as he ran out of fuel just after the caution came out. 12. RaceFanX posted: 09.30.2017 - 10:01 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Christopher Bell takes the lead because of Nemechek's issues. 13. RaceFanX posted: 09.30.2017 - 10:10 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) There's some scoring issues on this caution because of how that Nemechek/Bell issue played out. Matt Crafton has to restart at the back. 7 laps to go. 15. RaceFanX posted: 09.30.2017 - 10:11 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Crazy Restart! Ben Rhodes to the lead, four wide for second! It's Rhodes-Grant Enfinger-Chase Briscoe-Ryan Truex and Christopher Bell up front. 16. RaceFanX posted: 09.30.2017 - 10:11 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Bell back to second as Briscoe gets into Enfinger. Enfinger with an incredible save! 17. But they won't, because no Cup driver in lower series race = no interest and the seats are still empty. That's not my opinion, I just saw this in one of Kyle Busch's Facebook groups. 28. You should get used to it - even Cup races have much less comments than before. 2 reasons - people just don't care even if no Cup drivers are in the field and almost all of them are on the forum. I'd like to see these races live, but I'm not from USA, so those start times are insane for me (usually late in the evening, sometimes even very late in the night). Sometimes I'm lucky that I can watch the finish live early in the morning, when I wake up at 5 AM. 30. supernova1 posted: 10.01.2017 - 11:51 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) What a race.
