Plus, D.J.'s running for Premium in Cup this weekend. 7. JR-TV posted: 10.10.2017 - 11:21 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) ^Yes but I think D.J.'s cup ride in the #55 Toyota for Premium is some kind of a joint effort between Premium and Gaunt Brothers. And Gaunt Brothers has close ties to Toyota so I doubt D.J. would run a Chevrolet for Premium while under contract with Gaunt Brothers. But I could be wrong. The #96 would probably have enough speed to make the show. 9. 95McDowellFan posted: 10.10.2017 - 3:16 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Spencer Boyd is the #83 10. There are no braking zones in turns, so all you have to do is survive till the end and then try to win. And of course, be lucky... Some people can even have an orgasm from these crashes, but it's not funny at all for those teams to pay for those destroyed cars. And that's why I don't consider is as serious racing... But the real champion should be able to handle all the tracks in his path to the championship, so it just has to be in the Chase. 113. 23andJoe posted: 10.15.2017 - 12:51 am Rate this comment: (4) (0) "Even a brainless person can drive at Talladega" My counterargument is two words: Kevin Lepage. 114. Even I almost immediately knew that I can't merge so early back in 2008, when I started racing in NR2003 and my english wasn't excellent at all. Danish Pie posted: 10.15.2017 - 10:44 am Rate this comment: (2) (0) It does take skill to drive at restrictor plate tracks. It's just a different kind of racing, in a lot of ways comparable to road course racing. People don't say that Andy Lally doesn't have talent because he only does well on the road courses, or Justin Marks, so why say it about Ryan Reed, Ricky Stenhouse, and others at Daytona and Talladega? Is there a lot of luck involved? Yes, absolutely. But it takes skill to not put yourself in a precarious position and cause a massive pile up or get collected in a massive pile up, and to know which lane has the most momentum and how to negotiate getting into that lane. 119.
