Austin Wayne Self will probably drive because he was named full-time 2018 driver of the #45 truck and Texas is his home track. 2. The 42 was on the entry list at Iowa with Matt Mills, but withdrew before the first practice. That was the only time the 42 has been entered all year. This would be the first time the 42 actually hits the track. 9. LandonFandon34 posted: 11.01.2017 - 9:38 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Yup, you're right. I was thinking of Kentucky when he was in the #44. My bad. 10. 66LongFan posted: 11.02.2017 - 7:35 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Tommy Joe Martins failed to make a practice lap today, which means he isnĀ“t allowed to qualify tomorrow 11. Anonymous posted: 11.03.2017 - 4:03 pm Rate this comment: (2) (0) I saw the same thing that Tommy posted on Twitter about Harmon driving as their backup, but looking at the truck in the infield, Martins name is on the rear window and Tommy is in his fire suit... 17. JSPorts posted: 11.03.2017 - 4:35 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) They may have not changed the name on the window. They sometimes don't do that (like how Dale Jr.'s name was on Bowman's windshield last year.) I believe Harmon is driving it as a 2nd TJL truck, could be a start-and-park. 18. RaceFanX posted: 11.04.2017 - 12:16 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Johnny Sauter scores his 16th career Truck series win and his fourth at Texas, successfully defending his win in the fall race here last year. The victory punches his ticket into the championship fight at Homestead as Johnny goes for his second truck series title in a row. 24. JSPorts posted: 11.04.2017 - 12:59 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) He's had some issues in the playoffs that have resulted in him finishing lower than he should have in every race so far, but not last night. You can't count him out this year, even if his equipment may not be quite as good as Bell's. Also, Bell's truck had a lug nut left off last night so there will probably be some form of penalty for him. 25. kingcrapout posted: 11.04.2017 - 8:40 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Johnny Sauter, "the weapon" according to Mark Martin, is the man! 26. Mannoroth posted: 11.06.2017 - 6:59 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) 27. For Xfinity, it could be a good idea, but I think it's pretty useless in Trucks. The situation here is nearly the same as in Cup - the number that leads the point standings also leads the owner standings, because Cup drivers don't run many races and rookies can have inconsistent results. That's why 21 and 4 are on top just like in the regular standings. And even if they did it, Kyle can run in the part-time Truck that won't run for the Owners' title. Remember that he's still in this series because of sponsorship for his team - the Owners' title can be won by regulars running for the title. 29.
