Since I expect eggleston and peters to qualify, along with kligerman and front row joe, expect greenfield, murphy, Harmon, and Forrister or reaume depending on who's faster to miss. Will update if the beaver trucks enter 5. 02Justin10 posted: 05.14.2018 - 3:42 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I think Jennifer Jo one spot up on Reaume in the owner points is also in danger. Greenfield was fast at Daytona, and if he runs another spec engine, I can't picture him failing to qualify. My gut tells me proivionals may wind up being #3-Anderson, #49-Chavous, #83-Currey, #15-Lyons and #6-Benning. That would send home #10-Cobb, #33-Reaume, #74-Harmon, #63-Murphy. We also need to keep weather in mind. Popcorn showers and storms will start across North Carolina later this week and could last through the weekend. If qualifying gets canned, DNQing would be: #17, #46, #68 and #92. 6. The fact that he is in the #51 has nothing to do with not winning in the #4. The #4 is just as good as the #51. 16. Mannoroth posted: 05.15.2018 - 8:46 am Rate this comment: (2) (1) 14. Typical example of a human being that knows nothing about nothing... It's just like JR-TV said, but he was faster than me. Plus, it doesn't matter which truck Kyle chooses, because all the trucks are equal (apart from Hendrick and his former 2 different shops for A teams and B teams). It's their drivers that make the difference along with handling. And I'm pretty sure we would see a win sooner or later from Kyle in that #4 just like we did in #46 at Bristol last year... 17. But in the case of a rainout, driver and owner winners from within the past season get in. So any driver or truck that won a race in 2017 can make the field at any point in 2018 if qualifying is cancelled. Same rule applies in Xfinity, however, they take the top 30 in owner points before reverting to other criteria. 26. He's a nice fellow but at some point there needs to be a minimum threshold of talent required to race when lives are on the line, no matter how much money he has. It's a danger to both himself and other competitors that he's allowed to be out there. 42. George posted: 05.18.2018 - 10:15 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) LeMastus was 17th fastest out of 35 drivers in practice 1. While that doesn't exactly prove that he'll be contending for the win, it hardly indicates that he is the worst driver out there either. And if he is so terrible, what does that say about the 18 drivers who failed to turn a lap even as fast as LeMastus did? Far be it from me to stick up for a Toyota driver and of course one practice means little in the large scheme of things, but his results aren't worth all the hand-wringing and hyperventilating either. 43. He can barely run a professional stock car race without spinning out or hitting someone. It's great that he wants to invest in a team but don't be so selfish as to want to be in the truck yourself when we all know he's too old and not talented enough to help the team as a driver. And don't take the wheel if you can't find a "pay driver" either. They've got the funding to pick any driver they want, like Benjamin. 54.
