As of now, no Little, no Benning, no Korbin, no Roper, no Mittler. First non-Martinsville attempt for Dawson Cram. Second career attempt for Stefan Parsons. Chase Purdy, and Tyler Ankrum, 5. When Little's team announced their new sponsor they said they would be at each of the final three races. So their entry should be reflected later in the week. The crew chief on the #15 is listed as Amanda Beaver. So the #15 is likely a Beaver Motorsports truck using the number 15. I was hoping McAnally would enter Deegan in this race. 7. JSPorts posted: 11.06.2018 - 12:34 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Yes, Little said they'd be there. Beaver & Harmon have fielded the 15 since Chavous' retirement, so I expect that to continue. I'm glad Kraus is in this race. He has 8 poles, 6 wins, 23 top 5s, 26 top 10s and 916 laps led in 37 career K&N starts. Deegan has 2 poles, 1 win, 5 top 5s, 12 top 10s and 43 laps led in 20 K&N starts. Of course, I'd prefer that they were both entered, but if we had to pick just one, I'd go with Kraus. 8. Hopefully they can get some funding to run the whole race. 12. Willsome429 posted: 11.06.2018 - 4:18 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I'd be hard-pressed to find a scenario in which McAnally enters Deegan over Derek. Derek has two seasons and way more wins under his belt. Plus, he's older than Hailie IIRC so it's a quicker (and one I believe has more potential) investment for NAPA. 13. Posing Crawdad posted: 11.06.2018 - 4:25 pm Rate this comment: (1) (1) 6,63,74 are probably late entry's. 74 would run if there is not a full field. 35 as well could enter with Kligerman 14. Willsome429 posted: 11.09.2018 - 12:57 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) I love underdogs too but it's not "very possible" to get a top-10. The race last year was an anomaly that probably will not be seen for another five to ten years. There were six start-and-parks and an insane amount of other issues, which led to both others dropping out and Currey squeaking into the top 10. There were only 14 trucks left at the end, something unheard of at a non-plate track. Call me a cynic or realist or whatever but that situation is extremely unlikely to be replicated. 33. It ends with all three trucks in trouble; White spins the #33 harmlessly but both Ankrum's #17 and Gilliland's #4 lose it and get into a slide that ends in the outside wall. Kobe Toyopet, as the name implies, is a large Toyota dealership in Kobe, Japan (the nation's sixth largest city); in its native Land of the Rising Sun Toyota has several dealership store brands and divides up its models between them with Toyopet stores selling everything from the Prius, Hilux pickup, and the GT-86 to both smaller Japan-exclusive models and larger industrial trucks. Owner Shigeaki Hattori has seen several different Toyopet stores sponsor his NASCAR efforts in both the Truck and K&N East series over the years. I wonder what the folks at Kobe Toyopet thought of Moffitt's run to victory here. Do you think they noticed? I wonder if they would hang a small picture of his truck somewhere at the dealer to celebrate. 69. The #16 tied the #51 at 38 wins and again at 39 before reaching victory lane for the 40th time in this race, once again taking sole possession of the winningest number in series history. Moffitt would add one more win to the stories history the following week. He would become the 4th driver to win the championship in the #16, and ironically, the second of those drivers to be fired as champion. 70.
