I think the biggest truck wreck on a 1.5 track was in 2000 at Texas. Before today the largest truck wreck on 1.5 track since that was at Las Vegas in 2018 9. And its the 2nd largest crash Kansas has ever had in NASCAR period behind 2017 when what 16-17 cars crashed there. I mean we just had 12 in a wreck at Texas biggest 1.5 Cup wreck since 2017 just last Sunday. Again its not Daytona or Talladega but its numbers I see for those two tracks and those alone normally. and its the 2nd biggest crash for the Trucks in 2020 behind Daytona 14 but we did see a 12 Truck wreck earlier in the same event lets not forget. 91. As someone who's pulled for Crafton since I started actually watching the truck series at the beginning of 2014, this was incredibly refreshing. Got the 2015 feels to it (Crafton & a KBM driver battling for the win). Crafton is probably my favorite truck driver, but there are others I pull for. It's been over 3 years since he won, over 4 years since he won on not a dirt track, and because of work (back then) I haven't watched a race Crafton won since 2015 Homestead, and that was because I recorded it, along with yesterday's race. I think the last race I watched him win live was 2015 Martinsville or Kentucky If you were to tell me that 2 ThorSport trucks would be comfortable in the playoff picture at this point, I woulda put all my chips on Sauter & Enfinger. Alwo want to point out Raphael Lessard still does not have a top 10 with KBM. He's made 13 starts, he's had some bad luck and no practice probably hurts him, he does have three 11th place finishes and two 12ths, but 0 top 10s in 13 races with KBM is not a good look. Especially considering in his 2 starts with DGR-Crosley last year he finished 9th and 10th in his 3rd & 5th career starts. It's too bad those tracks (Iowa & Canada) aren't on the schedule, and likely won't be this year 100. Comers & goers, nobody dominating, and a popular winner. 9 drivers led laps in a 134-lap race, which is pretty good (means the average leader only led 14.9 laps.) Additionally there were 7 owners represented in the top 10, and a good mix of veterans (Crafton, Enfinger) with rookies (Eckes, Gray). 101. I think he has a good personality and attitude that makes other truckers respect him instead of hate him for being a superstar crossing over. Hearing his radio yesterday after his spin next to Natalie "I felt like she was crowding me but, that's a teammate I should've been more respectful and hung back, I just didn't want to kill my momentum and I screwed up" I know he's been considered a bust but with some simulator time and if they could practice (and a good crew chief) I think he'd be alright. Not a playoff driver with a field this deep, but it did impress me to see him overcome an early green flag pit stop for a flat, spin through the grass, and still come home 22nd only 2 laps down (don't think he ever got a wave around either) 103. Only direct comparison is Friday, May. 10th's race last year which had 448,000 viewers on FS1. 104. I don't know why the cancelled this year's race when Ohio isn't one of the hot spot states. If IndyCar can go to Mid-Ohio this year then why can't NASCAR go to both Ohio tracks this year. I was really looking forward to Eldora this year because it's one of my favorite non plate races of the year. 105.
