I really think NASCAR should look into raising the field limit next year to 36. 7. Zach posted: 08.25.2020 - 6:41 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Should be a fun race. The trucks always put on a great show at Gateway 8. Anon posted: 08.30.2020 - 12:52 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) Extremely impressive stage 1 for Sam Mayer, coming from the back to finish 6th, which would've been 4th with more laps. Remember when this site voted Jagger Jones over him and Ty Gibbs as last years rising star? 14. Zach posted: 08.30.2020 - 12:54 pm Rate this comment: (3) (1) I hope Gilliland wins this race. Just to prove Kyle Busch wrong. 15. Timothy_Eklund posted: 08.30.2020 - 1:44 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Sheldon creed puts the 38 in the wall. Gilliland done. 16. Unser1 posted: 08.30.2020 - 1:45 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Creed gets into Gilliland with 39 to go and Gilliland is in the outside wall! NO! Sam Meyer takes the lead with his teammates Creed, Zane Smith, and Brent Moffitt leading a GMS 1-2-3 with Ben Rhodes' ThorSport Ford a distant fifth. 17. RaceFanX posted: 08.30.2020 - 1:45 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Gilliland has been the dominate truck today and now he's out of contention. The #38 Ford is coming into the pits for repairs. 18. RaceFanX posted: 08.30.2020 - 1:46 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Christian Eckes had a fast truck today but he's got terminal issues, the #18 Toyota is out. 19. Zach posted: 08.30.2020 - 1:47 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) I like how last weekend at Dover, NASCAR was throwing cautions for guys getting sideways and saving their cars, but two trucks just smacked the wall on two consecutive laps in this race, no caution. Bunch of inconsistent idiots. 20. RaceFanX posted: 08.30.2020 - 1:47 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Caution with 33 to go as Jennifer Jo Cobb gets the wall. Looks like the #10 Chevy blew a tire and went right in the wall. 21. RaceFanX posted: 08.30.2020 - 1:48 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Eckes is out of his truck and actually pushing it to get it back to the hauler. 22. Clint posted: 08.30.2020 - 1:49 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) Sheldon creed ran out of talent and wrecked a guy for the 200th time in his truck series career. He is at best a career truck series driver. Gilliland should wreck the crap out of him. 23. Clint posted: 08.30.2020 - 1:50 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) #19 they have an indy car race to get to and they cant change tires so no strategy drama. It makes sense when u just keep in mind that nascar is more about tv programming entertainment than actual sport competition. 24. RaceFanX posted: 08.30.2020 - 1:58 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) This is only Sam Meyer's second Truck start of the year but he's leading by about half a second with 20 laps to go. Creed is in pursuit with Smith still third. GMS is 1-2-3 but Lessard is up to fourth for KBM. 25. Timothy_Eklund posted: 08.30.2020 - 2:03 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Good. 26. RaceFanX posted: 08.30.2020 - 2:07 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Creed to the lead with 14 to go on a restart. Mayer spun his tires on the restart, bummer. It's now Creed-Moffitt-Hill running 1-2-3. 27. RaceFanX posted: 08.30.2020 - 2:07 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Creed has $100,000 grand on the line for the Triple Truck Challenge and he's leading with 10 to go but Moffitt is hot on the his heels. 28. RaceFanX posted: 08.30.2020 - 2:10 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Creed is pulling away from Moffitt with seven to go. Only Creed, Moffitt, and Hill are within a second of the lead. 29. RaceFanX posted: 08.30.2020 - 2:16 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Creed's first words in his victory interview are an apology for wrecking Gilliland. 34. DB1995 posted: 08.30.2020 - 2:21 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) Always nice when you wreck the fastest truck and then win the race. 35. Clint posted: 08.30.2020 - 2:29 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) Easy to apologize when youre holding the trophy. I feel like todd gilliland has a ton of talent but just zero luck. His replacement in the 4 truck is running far worse and with a new truck team he definitely had a top 2 finish in the cards and a highly possible win. Different circumstances he could easily have at least 5 truck wins. 36. QFH posted: 08.30.2020 - 2:49 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Should say that the 38 of Todd Gilliland won both stages instead of Austin Wayne Self 37. RacingDude00 posted: 08.30.2020 - 5:44 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I know I am in the minority but I feel terrible for Todd with what happened had the fastest truck today & got pushed into the wall :( 40. Gopher88 posted: 08.30.2020 - 5:58 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) To me it looked like Mayer was pushing the crap out of Creed into turn one and Creed decided to look inside of Gilliland instead of running into the back of him, but he was going to fast anyway and got sideways. 41. WhereAreTheBeers posted: 08.30.2020 - 7:12 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) As talented as he is, sometimes it seems like Creed drives as if he is still driving a stadium super truck Wow Sauter really is having a shocker of a year 42.
