Last time she raced was Texas, and she was supposed to run full time. 2. NASCAREnthusiast posted: 09.22.2020 - 4:39 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Reaume in the 00, Iwuji in the 33. Will it find full time drivers for 2021 (Parsons, Viens, Currey, Tyler Hill, R. Reuse, etc.), or will it be purchased by someone else like Ray purchased the old team (If I'm correct this should be either Wendell Chavous owned team or a Jay Robinson team) last season? 7. Gopher88 posted: 09.23.2020 - 3:52 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Truck Series debut for Conor Daly. Seems kind of random for him to race. I wonder why he wanted to here rather than a road course race or another track he has experience on. Should be interesting to see how he does. 8. TEG posted: 09.23.2020 - 7:16 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) Why is Chandler Smith starting 5th, ahead of six of the ten playoff drivers? I was under the impression that metric qualifying automatically put all of the playoff drivers at the front. 9. UnderdogFan89 posted: 09.23.2020 - 7:23 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) @TEG the #51 is a playoff team for the owner points Chase, so they are allowed to start up with the other playoff teams. Similar to the #8 and #21 in the Xfinity series. 10. 52 posted: 09.23.2020 - 7:39 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) @9 I believe the starting order is set by owner points. The #51 has multiple drivers but may be higher than the other teams in owner points. 11. UnderdogFan89 posted: 09.23.2020 - 9:57 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) @52 Yes, the 51 is higher in owner points, hence my previous comment about that team making the owner's Chase. However, the field is still set by the previous metric, just with any team that has made either the driver's or owner's chase moved to the front of the field, in metric order. 12. I know this because I've had cancer since 2017 and a side effect of my chemo is rheumatoid arthritis and I have to get the same infusion treatments she does. I just wonder if it's her arthritis because when it's bad, you are bedridden and in a wheelchair until you can take a treatment. 29. Dion posted: 09.25.2020 - 11:12 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) How is Viens still able to race? He's been awfully off pace all year in Trucks and Xfinity. He's received multiple warnings this year to pick up the pace. How did he even qualify to get a NASCAR license? I mean it honestly. Besides running back of the pack in a few ARCA races, what actual racing has he done? I mean really, has he run local racing or did he just jump to ARCA, Xfinity and Trucks? I just want to know. He is a "rolling chicane" as they say. 39. JSPorts posted: 09.25.2020 - 11:48 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I don't know, but I agree, Viens is dangerous out there. Surprisingly, this is the first time in his career in Xfinity, Trucks or ARCA that he's been parked for being too slow. Of course, if you crash early on like he's prone to do (or fail to qualify), I guess you can't get parked for being too slow. 40. He's quite possibly one of the worst drivers I have ever seen on track. For one thing, he is almost always found holding up traffic on the track or almost Lepaging the field like Talladega earlier this year or just tonight. 43. QFH posted: 09.26.2020 - 1:07 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) While everyone is complaining about how much of a sham and a road block Timothy freaking Viens is, how about Conor Daly getting a top 20 and staying on the lead lap all race until the final lap in his first closed-wheel start? 44. There have been some very good MotoGP races at COTA. Cup cars will likely be a wreckfest, given how tight turns 1, 11 & 12 are. But some folk like that. 56. OtherAnthony posted: 10.05.2020 - 8:22 am Rate this comment: (0) (1) Why do we ever go with "out" statuses other than what's on the official race reports here? Decker was listed as "fatigue." Furthermore, why do "did not start" statuses result in the race not being counted towards a driver's stats at all on here, particularly in instances where they still earned points in the event? NASCAR's record books will show her as having competed in 12 races this year, not 11, and I'm sure that's the case in numerous other instances that cause a sanctioning body's record of how many race a driver's competed in to differ from what's listed on RR. Is this an official statistical resource, or an organization that thinks it has the authority to dictate what is and isn't a "start" in a driver's stat line? 60. possum posted: 10.05.2020 - 7:05 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) @59 - "Racing-reference.info is part of the NASCAR Digital Media Network.
