Not enough talent to be wrecking people intentionally like that. I know he's blaming Eckes but there's plenty of drivers out there that would've had no issue controlling their vehicle in that situation. What a clown. Who could replace him? Welp, it won't happen but it'd be cool to see Hailie Deegan. I don't think DGR-Crosley is capable of winning or running top 5 except maybe at Daytona and Talladega 55. Regardless if Eckes almost walled him or not, he flat out dumped the 18 at one of the fastest parts of the track. That could have been worse than it ended up being. I normally do not call for such actions but I hope Eckes wrecks the 99 next week. 60. Zach posted: 10.25.2020 - 3:21 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The problem with suspending Rhodes next week at Martinsville or for the rest of the season is that NASCAR has been very inconsistent with this sort of thing in the past. They suspended Matt Kenseth in 2015 after he dumped Logano at Martinsville but they did nothing to Jeff Gordon when he dumped Bowyer in 2012 at Phoenix. And there have been many other examples where they suspended a driver for something, but other times they haven't. They've always handled it differently, so whatever they do or don't do with Rhodes it could be viewed as right or wrong. 62. DI9_ForLife posted: 10.25.2020 - 3:22 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Pretty good race overall, not the best but not bad either. I'd venture to think Rhodes made 2 dirty moves in the race, especially destroying Eckes for essentially no reason whatsoever, and judging by the replay, it looked like that last lap wreck was on him too. As a fellow Kentuckian, I can say that I've lost almost all the respect I had for Rhodes 63. As far as I can tell, Smith has never raced at Martinsville before. Meanwhile, Crafton has 36 truck starts there, recording 2 wins, 9 top 5s, and 20 top 10s.
