Perhaps the most surprising thing about NASCAR's first weekend at COTA
is that the Truck Series race managed to run green the entire way
outside of scheduled Stage cautions.

Todd Gilliland looked strong early and won stage 1, but fell back due to
a pit penalty after the first stage. However, he would fight back to
take his first win since 2019, also marking the first win for Front Row
Motorsports in the Truck Series.

Kaz Grala impressed, starting and finishing 2nd in Tyler Young's #02,
the best finish to date for that team on a non-superspeedway track.

Paul Menard made his return to NASCAR, making his first start since 2018
driving a 5th Thorsport truck, and was 1 spot away from a Top 10 finish.
