I thought some IROC races had NASCAR?

IROC used a different format in 1979 and 1980 with a series of
qualifying races and then a two-race championship. The NASCAR, USAC and
road racing guys all had seperate qualifiers.

Foyt already had two IROC titles before he finally won a race in the
series.
