Mario Andretti's last IROC win. His homwtown is Nazareth, Pennsylvania,
but he and his siblings were actually born in Italy. He is also one of
the few drivers (Dan Gurney is another) to win in Grand Prix racing and
in NASCAR (before it became NA$CAR).

At the time reigning F1 World Champion Alan Jones makes his final IROC start

Man, imagine the F1 World Champion today doing an American stock car
race. It would be really cool but I doubt anyone would allow it

Jones was actually the 1980 champion and this race was run in October of
1979.
