Al Unser Jr makes his IROC debut. Little Al would go on to be one of
IROC's biggest winners over the years.

Also the IROC debuts of Bill Elliott, Hurley Haywood, Hans Stuck and
Klaus Ludwig.

Last IROC win for Al Unser Sr.

This was Big Al's first IROC win since his championship season in 1978.

CBS broadcast this race. Ken Squier and Chris Economaki were in the
booth with Ned Jarrett in the pits.
