Scott Pruett has listed this as one of the biggest wins of his career
since it was one of the last professional races at Riverside.

This was the first IROC race at Riverside since 1980, kind of fitting
they came back for one last run as Riverside is where the concept of
IROC was born and hosted its first-ever races.

Despite living 1 hour from there, Guerrero never drove on this track, as
he said in a pre-race interview. It was his first time in an Iroc car also.

Chip Robinson's second-place run here was by far his best in IROC
action. Robinson only ran the all-star series in 1988 and never placed
better than ninth in any of the other three races.
