No offense, but why did they add Richard Petty for this year? The King
was a great driver (perhaps the greatest) but IROC usually judges by
recent performence and the King didn't have too strong a 1988 season.

According to Bobby Unser this was the first Iroc race with power
steering. 50th Iroc race also.

Paul Page, Sam Posey and Bobby Unser were the commentators. Jack Arute
was the sole pit road reporter.
