The bumpy surface just adds to the challenge of this fast road course. 3. Probably the only time Dale Earnhardt, Rusty Wallace, Terry Labonte, and Mark Martin have raced on a street course but I could be wrong. 11. Terry Labonte did the 12 Hours of Sebring back in 1980s when much of its layout was still a temporary one on the airport runways. But yeah, in general stock car races aren't used to temporary road course layouts; kind of interesting to see Dale Earnhardt adapt quick and do well in this one (especially since as noted above all the NASCAR guys ran the Pepsi 400 at Daytona earlier in the day). 13.
