It was sadly Allison's last major stock car victory and his penultimate IROC start. This was his only win of his championship 1993 IROC season. 7. saltsburgtrojanfan posted: 05.04.2016 - 9:05 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Green flag: Lap 1-7 Caution 1: Lap 8 (caution laps do not count in IROC): #11 spun turn 1 Green flag: Lap 8-9 Caution 2: Lap 10 (caution laps do not count in IROC): #7 accident turn 2 Green flag: Lap 10-35 Caution 3: Lap 36 (caution laps do not count in IROC): competition Green flag: Lap 36-60 Lap Leaders: Al Unser: Lap 1-2 Alan Kulwicki: Lap 3-11 Davey Allison: Lap 12-60 8. madaboutcars posted: 11.20.2017 - 9:07 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Anyone know why Earnhardt and Wallace were subbing for other drivers? 9. ABC aired IROC races at the time on a tape delay, the video I found seems to imply they aired it a week later after the CART race at Phoenix, and the broadcast began with announcer Paul Page sending his sympathies to Kulwicki's family and friends. 11. During the ABC broadcast a lot of the Busch series cars were visible waiting for their race in the back stretch pit area. 12. Jack Arute was the sole pit road reporter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
