It says Gordon crashed out on lap 6, but also somehow managed to lead 21 laps. 2. irocfan posted: 01.01.2007 - 8:59 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Jeff Gordon led 2 laps; Robby Gordon should be shown as leading 19. 3. smiff posted: 01.08.2007 - 3:29 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I love this site. 4. Marlin and Labonte failed to get a productive draft to catch the IndyCar "underdogs" in "foreign" cars, which allowed the trio to finish up front. 5. Two ther cars would take damage while trying to avoid the crash, brining the total of damaged cars to 9. Only 5 of the starting drivers finished. 2nd of 4 IROC big ones 7. They didn't stay that way after the next race... Numbers: Dale Earnhardt- #1 Robby Gordon- #2 Tommy Kendall- #3 Sterling Marlin- #5 Al Unser, Jr.- #6 Jeff Gordon- #7 Terry Labonte- #4 Mark Martin- #8 Johnny Benson, Jr.- #9 Scott Pruett- #10 Steve Kinser- #11 (Fitting) Rusty Wallace- #12 (Normally the numbers at the second race were the finishing order from the first race [the numbers were a driver's standing in the points]. No idea why they didn't match from Daytona.) 8. Considering IROC's considerate bonus points system for laps led, I'd say that would be the reason. 9. saltsburgtrojanfan posted: 05.04.2016 - 3:36 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Green flag: Lap 1-5 Caution 1: Lap 6 (caution laps do not count in IROC): #1,3,7,8,9,12 accident turn 3 Green flag: Lap 6-38 Lap Leaders: Steve Kinser: 1 Johnny Benson, Jr. : 2 Jeff Gordon: 3-4 Terry Labonte: 5-8 Robby Gordon: 9-27 Sterling Marlin: 28-35 Al Unser, Jr.: 36-38 10.
