Somebody got their signals crossed on the stats for this race. It says
Gordon crashed out on lap 6, but also somehow managed to lead 21 laps.

Jeff Gordon led 2 laps; Robby Gordon should be shown as leading 19.

Robby actually represented CART, like Little Al and Scott Pruett. Marlin
and Labonte failed to get a productive draft to catch the IndyCar
"underdogs" in "foreign" cars, which allowed the trio to finish up front.

A 7 car crash occured in turn 1, when Sr. Spun while racing 3rd, i believe.

Two ther cars would take damage while trying to avoid the crash, brining
the total of damaged cars to 9.

Only 5 of the starting drivers finished.

2nd of 4 IROC big ones

After an average run at Daytona and crashing out here Mark Martin sat
next to last in the IROC points and his title hopes didn't look good.
They didn't stay that way after the next race...

Considering IROC's considerate bonus points system for laps led, I'd say
that would be the reason.

Paul Page and Bobby Unser were the commentators. Jack Arute was the sole
