First IROC race run at night and the first at Charlotte.

Mark Martin turns his IROC season around, coming in 11th in points and
surging bacl with victories in the last 2 races to propel him to his 2nd
IROC title.

Durin this race, an approximately 7 car crash struck going through turn
4, as two nearly lapped cars battled, spun, then had the leaders, Dale
Sr and Martin, plow into them, followed by more.

The 3rd of the 4 IROC big ones.

I remember this race. Earnhardt wasn't happy after the wreck, openly
questioned with participation in IROC was worth the risk. In an
interview alongside Steve Kinser, he seemed to be upset about the no
spotter rule and the cars not being set up well.
