Maybe he isn't the all-time best driver out of active drivers after all, because of how he lacked winning IROC races. 4. #26 Oreo Double Stuf Ford posted: 02.22.2008 - 3:57 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) This was also the only rain-shortened race in IROC history. 5. most posted: 03.12.2008 - 6:34 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) he actually wasn't leading when the race ended, he got passed (can't remember who) but they reverted back to the last completed lap and he won, that rule was as bad as the GWC rule and not racing back... 6. Actual numbers Randy LaJoie- #12 Tom Kendall- #11 (fitting, that was his Trans-Am number) Mark Martin- #10 Arie Luyendyk- #9 Al Unser, Jr.- #8 Already Correct... Terry Labonte- #7 Jeff Gordon- #6 Dale Earnhardt- #5 Jeff Burton- #4 Jimmy Vasser- #3 Dale Jarrett- #2 Tony Stewart- #1 Then-defending CART champion Alex Zanardi was invited to run IROC again in 1998 but after his struggles in the series in 1997 he turned down his invitation. 11. Scoring reverted to the previous lap and Gordon got the win; Burton had to wait until later in the year at MIS to get his first IROC victory. 12.
