This was the first IROC race at Talladega since 1996; the series ran at
the new California Speedway (now Auto Club Speedway) in 1997 and 1998
instead.

I had Jeff Gordon and Greg Moore's numbers backwards, Jeff had the No.5
and Greg drove the #6 in this race.

Bob Jenkins, Benny Parsons and Darrell Waltrip were the commentators.
Dr. Jerry Punch was the sole pit road reporter.
