He drove his normal #77 McCord Gaskets Chevy in the 125, but he missed the field. Ragan then bought the Grant Adcox car. He slapped a #77 on Adcox's car and ran it in the 500. 4. Martin's Cup career imploded in 1983 but he went back to the short track ranks and rebuilt his reputation before launching a major comeback here...and he'd go on to win the ASA championship this year again as well. 10. zuel660 posted: 12.05.2019 - 9:03 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) All the GM cars were essentially 'new' in this race, with the Monte Carlos having a 'bubble' rear window, along with the Grand Prix, which also sported a revised nose.
