Ulrich 5. I think he could have won 201 or 202 if the breaks fell where they needed to, but I don't think that given his age, Richard Petty would have found victory lane too often and his working with a young band of crewmen that were learning to earn their stripes with NASCAR. Petty's crew chief Robbie Loomis would eventually win a championship with Jeff Gordon who picked up where Petty left off. 1992 his final year was mobbed by his farewell tour which took a considerable amount of energy out of the King. 6. saltsburgtrojanfan posted: 12.16.2014 - 2:17 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Caution 1: Lap 1-4: green/yellow start Caution 2: Lap 50: #20,69 accident turn 4 7. The commentators going nuts hoping and talking about Richard Petty being back. I don't think they'd gotten used to restrictor plate racing yet. Especially when it came to the 125s. 8. zuel660 posted: 03.06.2019 - 10:31 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I believe Sammy Swindell was in an Oldsmobile here, not a Ford. 9.
