Why is Ritchie Petty AND Bobby Hillin Jr. showed as starting 15th? One started 15 and the other 16th but which order. 6. jp posted: 03.29.2009 - 9:22 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Petty and Hillin may have tied speeds for 15th. 7. Also the last Daytona race for the #52 Jimmy Means team. 16. Corey posted: 07.25.2019 - 3:20 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) @15 No, Roush's 99 was new. Colburn's only Cup attempt was this race. Roush wouldn't have any reason to buy this team. The number was just available for Roush to use. 17. RaceFanX posted: 10.12.2019 - 12:22 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Doug Heveron had a couple of strong Busch series runs in 1994 and was able to translate that into a one-off in the Sadler Brothers' #95 Ford here at Daytona. Heveron was looking to make the Daytona 500 for the first time in nine years but his first time in the Twins since 1989 did not see him finish high enough to the Shoney's restaurants-backed Thunderbird into the Great American Race. The 1995 season would be a rough one for the Sadlers as they attempted four races with several different drivers and failed to qualify for all of them. 18.
