Mike Harmon makes his only career Cup start but is unable to qualify for
the Daytona 500.

David Green again attempts the Daytona 500 and is again unable to race
in thru the 125 qualifier.

A champion off-road racer who can and has won in darn near everything
and a driver two seasons off a Busch title already sitting on the pole
for the 500? I can think of worse ones.

To the rear - 4, 99 - backup car

A multi-car wreck at the end of practice on Tuesday caused Mike Skinner
& Jeff Burton to resort to their backup cars for the rest of the week.
The other cars involved - Jack Sprague & Elliott Sadler - were in the
second Twin-125, though only Sadler elected to go to a backup car.
