First comment! YES!!!!! Jeff Gordon FINALLY wins another race! I know it doesn't count towards his total, but a win is a win to me, and this'll be a great boost for him in 2009. 2. Either way, happy for Jeff here, and Tony's team continues to surprise me. I thought they'd be backmarkers for the whole of Speedweeks. Guess not. 3. stricklinfan82 posted: 02.12.2009 - 5:52 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Go-or-Go Homers (top 2 finishers earned spots in the 500): 14 Stewart (already locked in on speed but raced in anyway) 36 Riggs ----------------------- 87 Nemechek (DNQ) 09 Keselowski (DNQ) 46 Long (DNQ) 37 Raines (DNQ) 66 T. He needs to keep this up heading into the 500 and the rest of the season. 6. New 14&88 Fan posted: 02.12.2009 - 10:40 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Great racing, even better than I expected. Attaboy to Scott Riggs,I'm sure Evernham and Haas must be wondering why they let him go.Stewart's new team continues to impress,I wouldn't be surprised if either Tony or Ryan somehow won the 500. 7. He spun and hit the wall lightly. 8. Dodge posted: 02.13.2009 - 10:17 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I don't think Evernham really had any decision to let Riggs go. Mr. Gillett wanted a Canadian in the car is what I understood and at the very first conflict he Fired the Canadian and then he wanted Allmendinger. 9. James W. When he won Segment 1 of this year's Duels, it seemed like 1993 all over again. 10. Bronco posted: 02.14.2009 - 1:02 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Riggs did a great job in this race. Not only did he race his way in, but he was in the top 5 the whole race. The racing itself wasn't very fun to watch, it was mostly single file. And how cool was it to see ole' Bill lead a lap at Daytona! 11. josh posted: 02.15.2009 - 6:56 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Jeff Gordon finally wins another race. Even though it doesn't count, it's still special, Stewart did great, but not as great as he wanted. Impressive performance with Logano. If Bill Elliott wasn't wrecked under caution, he would've gotten top 5 my opinion. 12. My father and I were sitting in the beginning of the tri-oval and pushed past Jeff Gordon and we went crazy!! It was a real memorable experience! 13. jp posted: 03.26.2009 - 7:00 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I agree with The Rael Thomas. stricklinfan82's deal is dumb. The way they should do it: Advance the top 22 in #1 and the top 21 in #2 to the 500, with 10th and 20th the almighty Transfer Spots. 14.
