Kenseth stayed high off turn 4 on the last lap with Harvick in the middle and Kahne on the bottom as they came across the line in a three-wide photo finish. Kenseth's previous Duel win was in 2012. That year he went on to win the Daytona 500. 4. SoonersFan posted: 02.20.2014 - 9:57 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kevin is now credited as finishing 24th due to failing post race inspection. 5. Stenhouse isn't even 1st! 14. webmaster posted: 02.20.2014 - 10:42 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The order got temporarily messed up when Harvick was DQ'd and moved down to 24th. 15. RaceFanX posted: 02.20.2014 - 10:43 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Swan Racing had a wild Wednesday before this race. First Cole Whitt, with a one-off sponsorship with Speed Stick Gear, got the outside wall and smashed up his car. The team only had one backup car and Whitt was going to get it when his teammate Parker Kligerman ended up in a wilder crash that saw the #30 go airborne into the tri-oval fence and flip over. The team prepared the backup for Klingerman, redoing the car in a new livery for LendingTree in the process, and ripped off the whole right side of Whitt's car and rebuilt it. Their work paid off here as Whitt recovered to race his way into the Daytona 500. Klingerman also almost raced in before having a last lap problem drop him back, he still got into the 500 through other means following the second race. The 300 Will Be Avenged!...But Not at Daytona. Joe Nemechek and his car sponsored by the new sequel movie did not make the grid for the 500. It will be the first 500 since 2009 without Front Row Joe in the field. 16. 1995z71 posted: 02.20.2014 - 10:54 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) haha Hopefully 300: Rise of an Empire will move over to the sponsored #98. The paint scheme on Joe's car was actually pretty cool. 17. ch posted: 02.20.2014 - 10:56 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Sponsor Changes: 9 - Stanley Tools / DeWalt 98 - Phil Parsons Racing 18. 18fan posted: 02.21.2014 - 2:31 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Embarrassing performance of the week award goes to the 18 team in this race. Never ran above I think 15th and only finished ahead of 2 healthy cars and those were from extremely underfunded teams. Watching the other two JGR cars be the class of the field gives me hope for Kyle, but at the same time I am wondering what the hell happened. 19. Noteworthy after the growing controversy over Richard Petty's negative comments about Danica Patrick - she showed she couldn't hang with Aric Almirola. 24.
