Dale Jarrett spun harmlessly to avoid the crash. 4. When Trickle spun, Stanley Smith, in the typical bad luck that plagued his career, had nowhere to go. Trickle just clipped Smiths car, whose throttle appeared to hang open and slam the outside wall in very similar fashion to Bobby Hillins crash here the prior year. Thankfully no one was hurt in this incident 5. Josh posted: 01.10.2017 - 3:55 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Race is on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBU8bDaHuGg 6. Between all other drivers, I counted seven wins between all of them (Marcis 5, Sacks & Speed, 1). I may have missed someone, but I don't think I did. I think they were quite justified to make the listed drivers race the open. 9. His three laps led should be credited to Chad Little. I believe the "Led" totals should be the following: Michael Waltrip: 74 Sterling Marlin: 38 Hut Stricklin: 15 Chad Little: 3 Terry Labonte: 3 Kerry Teague: 1 J.D. McDuffie ran a red #70 in this one after damaging his primary blue #70 during the ARCA race at Talladega a couple of weeks prior. 11.
