Kerry Earnhardt won, but since he didn't finish on the lead lap, he didn't get to race, and Ken Schrader ran in the Winston as the fan vote winner instead. 3. Great run for Morgan Shepeherd. 6. If you want me to, I can provide a video of Jeremy Mayfield and McMurray getting together with Sterling cleanly going past them on the final lap. 8. jp posted: 06.17.2009 - 10:00 am Rate this comment: (1) (1) Dave Despain 4 Prez. i'll drink a toast 2 thatt 9. With the brand's 2010 demise during GM's "restructuring" there is little to no chance of ever seeing another one. 19. 18fan posted: 03.04.2012 - 11:09 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) First time since 1993 that Sterling was in the Open. He had another top-20 in a Daytona 500 qualifying race but never finished better than 29th in a points-paying event. 27. Mayfield recovered to sneak past McMurray and finish second but only the winner advanced to the All-Star race. This was Marlin's first Cup victory of any kind in over two years and it would prove to be his last win on any major NASCAR level. Mayfield did a great job to finish second given how much his car was damaged from the big one early on. 28.
