Brian Vickers spun Mike Bliss just inches from the finish line to win
this race. This means that both of his wins in NEXTEL Cup have come from
spinning the leader on the final lap.

This is currently the only race I've ever been to(ain't it embarrassing???)
I remember seeing Shelmerdine's car and when Vicky spun Bliss. My uncle,
cousins all went. We left with 19 to go in the Challenge, Just as Newman
and Wallace had crashed.

A very heartbreaking race for Bliss and he lost his ride with the the
team after the season was over and he was replaced by Jeff Green.
Vickers did the same trick at Talladega in 2006 when he wrecked the race
leader. But he won his third race on fuel mileage.

Vickers should have been striped of this "win" for deliberately dumping
the leader (a la Ricky Rudd at Sears Point in 1991).

Mike Joy along with Larry McReynolds and Darrell Waltrip were the
commentators. Dr. Dick Berggren along with Steve Byrnes and Matt Yocum
were the pit road reporters. Chris Myers and Jeff Hammond were in the
Hollywood hotel.
