Bob Lawrence posted: 02.02.2008 - 5:59 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) According to an article on page 2 of the June 11, 1956 issue of the Hutchinson News-Herald newspaper, 8,000 people attended the NASCAR Convertible Series race at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas on June 10, 1956. That same newspaper article also stated that ninth place finisher Bill Lang was from Syracuse, NY. Those were two bits of information that are missing from your data. 2.
