6-year-old Phil McGraw finishes 14th in his only NASCAR start. Almost 50
years later, he would go on to become a famous TV psychologist. When
asked how they could possibly allow a toddler to compete in a NASCAR
event, a race official said "Hey, look over there!" and then ran away.

This was the first of two Convertible wins for Jones. This was also the
tour's second and final race at the New York State Fairgrounds.
