Tootle Estes, making his fourth and final Convertible series start,
comes home second to claim his best NASCAR stock car finish. This was
his lone top-5 finish in the convertibles and he never finished better
than eighth in the hardtops.

Bob Wellborn picks up his seventh win of the year and he wasn't done
winning yet either. This was the convertible's last stop at Wilson
Speedway.
