It's possible though. The only information I could find was "Anne Chester became the fourth female driver to race in the Grand National ranks. Her Plymouth fell victim to early problems and she finished 22nd in the 23 car field." 6. So, Lloyd completed 200 laps and qualified second. 9. A.J. posted: 03.17.2019 - 3:50 pm Rate this comment: (2) (0) You're joking right? 10. Cars in that era used stock production stamped steel wheels, and it wasn't uncommon to either break wheel studs or break the center out of the wheel when racing on dirt tracks. Since that usually happened when hitting a rut, it wasn't unusual for the wheel to get thrown up in the air (unlike modern loose wheels, which tend to just roll along until they hit something). Breaking two at once would be unusual, altho I suspose it's possible he broke one, made it to the pits, went back out and broke another. I note that MSport's post refers to the previous as @14, which makes me wonder if that's a typo or if some comments disappeared. 14. I honestly forget which, but I do remember seeing a '14' when I typed the comment. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
