This race was on the day Dale Earnhardt was born. Also, this race
happened in North Carolina, Earnhardt's home state.

And it featured one of two drivers in Cup history with the first name
"Dale" who wasn't an Earnhardt or a Jarrett, as Dale Williams finished 9th.

York and doing at least a half-roll.

Bob Walters' car was indeed numbered J-6 according to a photo of the car
from the Columbia race.
