Film of this race shows that Fonty Flock started 1st and that Tim Flock
started 2nd.

Ultimateracinghistory.com lists Mike Hovis as finishing 25th in a #39
car, and Harold Fair, Jr. in 26th in a #71.

However, it also claims that it's the same Hovis who ran a Busch race in
'92, and the same Fair who ran in the ASA in the mid-90's. I'd take
their word with a large grain of salt this time.

There was a #17 Plymouth in this race. It looks an awful lot like one
driven by Bob Greer earlier in the year, but he wasn't in this race.
From video of this race, it also looks like it might have rolled,
considering the roof had come down a fair way. Whatever happened it had
crashed.

More video has emerged of this one.

#17 was definitely in this race, and somebody overturned in the first
corner.

Note for visitors: we have found some informations missing and/or
correction until now on the website (Pole speed, lap leaders and a lot
of starting positions, sponsors, all missing drivers, status, car
numbers,...).
Note: Bob Greer flipped his Plymouth and no official time was kept due
to the red flag (15 minutes).

Lloyd Moore qualified 13th in the race.

More film of this race shows that Lloyd Moore started behind Lee Petty
in the 8th position, while the #35 started right behind Moore in the
10th position.
