For the first time in NASCAR history, no driver made their debuts. Every
driver had run at least one race prior to this.

Frank Gise and Sandy Lynch were both making their final appearances,
though. (And Gise got his one and only career top-ten.)

And I'm pretty sure this is the only time Jesse James Taylor led the
most laps in a race.

There is 1 more race before what would have been the 1951 Chase
begins...Only 6 of the drivers in the Top 20 (2011 system) raced...The
only driver to clinch a spot was Jim Fiebelkorn in 8th place, leaving 3
spots to be determined

The only other driver that can race into the Top 10 is Donald Thomas in
12th...Bill Blair, Bill Rexford, Erick Erickson, Weldon Adams, Bub King,
and Bill Snowden could get in with a victory
