Called early due to major crash. Great YouTube video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=Z0NWExpY_D4 SO in 1951 what 'division' was (is) the sportsman series (Nationwide??) 3. Fonty Flock (5 wins) 2015 2. Tim Flock (5) 2015 3. Marshall Teague (5) 2015 (DNR) 4. Herb Thomas (4) 2012 5. Lee Petty (1) 2003 6. Frank Mundy (1) 2003 (DNR) 7. Bob Flock (1) 2003 8. Jim Fiebelkorn 2000 9. Lloyd Moore 2000 (DNR) 10. Dick Rathman 2000 11. Curtis Turner (3) 2000 (DNR) 12. Lou Figaro (1) 2000 (DNR) Figaro's win on 6-30 at Carrell Speedway got him the 2nd Wild Card...He was the only driver in the Top 15 to race in that race 5. nascar_vd / racing-reference.info posted: 08.03.2015 - 12:47 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Note for visitors: we have found some informations missing and/or correction until now on the website (car numbers, manufacturers). Note: 53 cars entered for the race but we only have the top36. No idea if 53 cars started the race or if only 36 cars started the race (with 17 DNQ) ? But there are still a lot of missing information. 6. The same book states that "Fritz Holzhauer was rushed to Trenton's Mercer Hospital with critical head injuries. Don Black was seriously injured in an early crash and transported to Mercer Hospital." According to Fielden's NASCAR: The Complete History, Don Black was critically injured in a massive pileup, and Holzhauer was badly burned in an earlier incident. 7. And as @5 alluded to, 53 cars were entered in this race, the list I found would bring to total from 36 to 50 with Lloyd Moore being 51. 9. That "massive pileup" Fielden alluded to was the footage we've likely all seen of 30 cars piling into eachother down the homestretch during the National Open. 10.
