Scoring mix-up caused Neil Cole to be listed out of the top 11, and when score cards were tailed, it was discovered that he completed the same number of laps that Gallup did. Officials decided to declare both as 8th place finishers. So for NASCAR officially there is no 9th position in this race. And for the qualifying: No time trials due to inclement weather forced officials to draw for position. 6.
